Glassware hand blown and sculpted in the flame, in the heart of the Lake District.
Combining traditional flameworking techniques with methods developed in her studio, Emma Mackintosh produces a range of highly individual glassware inspired by Lake District landscapes, colours and textures. Imprinting the glass with locally-foraged leaves, moss etc…, using detailed, coloured stems or blowing into found-object moulds, Emma's aim is connection: between drinker and drink, between senses, and between us as people and this world on which we live.
