James Cross
James Cross
Bio
James Cross uses sculpture and installation to explore our relationships with objects and the stories they tell.
James' practice explores the use of objects and images as foundations of storytelling, with a particular interest in the potential for multiple interpretations of the same material. The works investigate our relationships with objects, materials, and physicality; and how these elements relate to our perception and the experience of our surroundings. Play is integral to his work; both as a means of material development, and in terms of content and purpose of production.
